"Our baptism has changed us, giving us a new and glorious hope, and empowered us to bring God's redeeming love to all." - Pope Francis
What is Baptism?
Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.
Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons & daughters of God. The sacrament of Baptism not only gives us sanctifying grace: it also makes us adopted children of God and heirs of heaven. This is the first sacrament of initiation.
